Under Armour Design Project

I set out to use my design skills to create a vehicle wrap that highlights Under Armour’s community outreach efforts. In that process, I discovered Project Rampart, a powerful partnership with Baltimore City Schools aimed at supporting the growth of student-athletes.

Project Rampart is based in Baltimore, so I wanted to include the Maryland flag. I also included some statistics about the students that Project Rampart has impacted for the public to read.

I wanted this design to tell the story of a program that deserves a louder voice. Initiatives like Project Rampart have the power to shape young athletes; not just in sport, but in life. Sports teach discipline, resilience, and the value of a positive environment. While this project supports the community, it also presents a unique opportunity for Under Armour. Athletes are creatures of habit; whether it’s gear or game-day rituals, brand loyalty often begins early. Introducing Under Armour at the youth level builds familiarity and trust that can carry through high school, college, pro sports, and beyond.

“Protect This House” is an iconic rallying cry used by Under Armour to inspire a strong team mentality among athletes. “Be The Athletes No One Saw Coming” is used to boost the self-confidence among young athletes, particularly in underserved communities.
